Carli Cichocki -

Carli Cichocki is a storyteller based in Cleveland, Ohio.

She served as U.S. Vice President Joe Biden’s videographer at the end of the Obama administration, and in that role, she created video content to reflect the Vice President’s values and his experiences at home and around the world.

Now, she works as a Communications and Multimedia Specialist for Youth Opportunities Unlimited, a Cleveland nonprofit that works to help 14-to-24 year olds from economically distressed communities have work experiences and get on paths to stability.

Carli also works as a freelance video storyteller. Some of her clients include: The Biden Cancer Initiative, American Possibilities, Change.Org, Cleveland Clinic, The S Word movie, and WKYC-TV in Cleveland.

Before embarking on a career in visual storytelling, Carli practiced public relations at Spitfire Strategies, a national communication firm, which works with nonprofits and foundations to help create their vision of a better world. She also worked in Washington D.C. for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown. When she’s not working, Carli enjoys volunteering at The Boys & Girls Club.

Carli participated in Multimedia Immersion as a student in 2013. It was her first experience with professional visual storytelling (and cameras!) She now co-directs the workshop.
